Hello to Ally, Ashley, Jill and Shane. I am keeping updated with the great postings! I did see Heather at a Beef n Beer for CHOP recently and she brought me up to speed as well.
It is very difficult to read some entries, I cannot imagine what this experience must feel like. I am sure the world stopped the past few weeks. But, Jill, you said you would never be given more than you can handle, and your family is doing outstanding, considering.
We are having a blood drive at work, through Miller and they said that my donation could be in Ally's name, so hopefully it helps!
Enjoy the wonderful recovery Ally is making, and have fun in the play room for us all..

I found Ally's website through another website and just want to say I am praying for her. I am assuming she is on TPN? I am 29 yrs old, have been on TPN since age 16 and have several friends who have needed multi-organ transplants, some who have done very well. I also have a g-tube and j-tube.

Do you know Steph from the Philly area? Her website is: www.caringbridge.org/visit/stephanie6 She is 33 and had a stomach, small bowel, liver, pancreas transplant a year ago on April 17th and is doing very well.

Jill, I am saying extra prayers as I write...and John is doing the pee-pee dance. One thing we know is life with both Ally & John is a continuous roller coaster. Hang in there, I know it's hard at time, but keep the faith.

I was just on the donor walk website and although it breaks my heart that I will not be able to participate, seeing the amount of support you have all received brings me to tears! For the short time I met Ally, I could tell she was a smiler....so keep smilling, girl!! And know that your whole family has so much support and so many people rooting for you!! Love and hugs!!

Please know that our prayers are with you constantly. Ally is so courageous and amazing; as are you, Shane and Ashley. You are all going through so much and you always think of others. Dear Lord, please keep Ally calm and peaceful as she is weaned from the meds. Give Jill and Shane all the strength they need to comfort her. Thank you for using them to show your constant love for your children.

I just wanted to pass along some information about donating blood today down at Citizen's Bank Park in Philadelphia. Former Phillie Mitch Williams will be down there, as well as other festivities around the day (Phillies prizes, appearances by the Red Phanatic, etc.). My dear friend, Marilyn works with Ally's Aunt at 1031 Corp and she has sent out pray request for your precious daughter. Last night at my "Restoration Meeting", a regular Monday class at my church I showed Ally's picture and shared her health information. Needless to say we had a very heartfelt prayer request for a miracle for
Ally. Not a dry eye was left in the room. We will continue to send out all our prayers for the blessings of restored health.
