Ally- I love your new pictures. Sorry I could not make the breakfast. Austin had two big school projects to do that he did not tell me about to the last minute. Needless to say I was on a hunt over the weekend to find items so he could dress up as Booker T. Washington. He had to give a speech about Booker dressed up as him. You'll learn all about Booker T Washington when you go to school. You look like your on the road to reading with all those get well cards! Keep up the good work.

Good morning beautiful! Hope today is a good day and tomorrow is an even better day. I know more stuff being done doesn't sound like fun, but a gastrostomy tube would be so nice. I saw Dr. Katz today before she went to the OR here and showed her your gorgeous pictures to make her day happier. It worked!
Just think, this time next year, you and Ashley should be playing together in the snow. Hopefully, Mommy won't dump you off the sled ;<)

The breakfast this morning was very yummy. There were so many people there and it was awesome. I asked Pastor Pearson how many people were there and he said ~1200 people!!! Can you believe it! Hello beautiful! What great news for a sunny Friday! And two smiles...Mommy must have been so thrilled.

I really wish that I could get to the breakfast tomorrow, but I have to work at Bryn Mawr tomorrow and help some other babies feel better. Everyone there always aks me for the latest Ally news...you have quite a large fan club there. I'm glad that I will be able to tell them some good stuff!

Hello. My family and I - especially my daughter Gillian (7yrs old) - just wanted to extend our hope and prayers for Ally, Ashley, mom and dad, family and friends too. My daughter has been following Ally's progress since she first saw it in the Mercury. She read the paper this week and saw about the breakfast benefit and begged to go(which we are). She quick ran to her room to make a card to bring tomorrow. What a wonderful family you must be - you can see it in Ally's eyes! Best wishes and many more prayers!

You can't believe how encouraging the smiling face of little Ally (Boyertown Times) is to young and old. She is already doing her mission in life, helping the rest of us to be helpful and hopeful in our own comparatively trivial difficulties. The rest of her family is a remarkable example and encouragement too of faith and perseverence. It is good that Ashley can be included and valued as well through this all-consuming family experience. Thanks for the charming letter from Ally on her first birthday. We hope and pray with you that there will be many more.
