Ally's Breakfast and Blood Drive

Angels for Ally will be holding Ally's Breakfast and Blood Drive again this year! The event will be Saturday, November 17th from 7 to 11 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church located at 45 North Reading Ave. in Boyertown, Pa. This is a Thrivent Financial for Lutherans sponsored event and all breakfast proceeds will be donated in Ally's memory to the Gift of Life Family House in Philadelphia.

The breakfast is All you Can Eat and includes, pancakes, eggs, sausage, scrapple, homefries, sticky buns, juice, tea or coffee. Adults are $8 and Seniors or Chilren under age 12 are just $5.

We will also be hosting a blood drive with the Miller Keystone Bloodmobile. Anyone who donates blood will receive a free breakfast! If you would like to donate blood please call me at 484-942-8831 or email me at jbheintz@yahoo.com.

Beef and Beer

Angels for Ally will be hosting a Beef and Beer fundraiser on Saturday, June 16th 2012 from 6 to 10 p.m.
at Birdsboro Fire Co. Social Hall 214 West 1st Street Birdsboro, Pa. All proceeds from the event will benefit John Maicher and family. Entertainment will be provided by “Night Music by Steve Wilson”. We will also be having a Chinese Auction and 50/50 Raffle. Tickets are $25 and include food, beer and soda.

John, a resident of the Birdsboro area, was born with a birth defect that has left him struggling with numerous health problems and needing various surgeries throughout his life. Due to ongoing complications John is in need of a life saving transplant and is currently on the national organ donor waiting list. John’s transplant will involve transplantation of his liver, small intestine, stomach and pancreas and will be done at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington D.C. John and his family will have to travel and live outside of the Birdsboro area and will endure numerous out of pocket and financial expenses. Please come out and show your support for John and his family and help to ease some of their financial burden, while enjoying a night of food and fun!

It's time to DASH

It's that time of year again...it's time to DASH for the Gift of Life and Organ Donor Awarenss! This year's Dash will once again take place at the Philadelphia Art Museum and will take place rain or shine on Sunday April 15th, 2012. For more info or to register for the walk go to www.donors1.org. You may sign up to be on team Angels for Ally or if you can't make the event you can make a donation to the team.
