Shane and Jill: I hope you will continue to draw strength from the many, many people who are praying for you, Ally, and Ashley--you are all doing an amazing job of handling life each day!

Our youngest son almost left us 2 years ago on the 28th. It was very hard to accept at the time. We live on a daily basis these days. Taking one day at a time. Micah can still die at any time because of his health issues. But now we have accepted the fact that if this happens, that it's all in God's planing. God know's best. We have accepted this and know that if Micah should pass away, that he will be in a much better place and he will never hurt again! It's taken us a long time to get here. I hope and pray that your daughter lives. But you should also prepair yourselves and also maybe come to grips that she will never hurt again when God takes her home.

Well all that we can do at this point is pray that things get better. Up to this point the Doctors have done a marvelous job, so we just have to hope that they can continue to help Ally heal. I send you a prayer that things start to brighten up!

Ally, I hope that you are feeling better today and that you are able to come home real soon. I say my prayers every night with Mommy and Daddy and we are all praying really hard. Hang in there girl!

You know we are praying for you all. Our home meeting meets tonight, so you know we'll be lifting you all up in our prayers. May you know God's peace and care for you all.

I continue to pray for Ally and for Jill, Shane and Ashley. May the blessing of God Father, Son and Holy Spirit abide with you.

My prayers will continue daily for Ally and all of you. She is definitely a little fighter. Having sick children is not easy to deal with and takes all the strength you have. It's in God's hand.

However........I will continue to pray, harder and more frequent than ever and I will not give up on Ally. Miracles happen and if anyone deserves a miracle it is your smiling face Ally, she is quite a special little girl. God bless and be with you all.

Hello beautiful! As always, you all are in my constant thoughts and prayers. Jill, you are such a positive inspiration to me! Lesser people, including myself, would have crumbled by now. God has given you the gifts needed to deal with a special child like Ally. He has entrusted her to you and Shane because He knows this is best! I know He will continue to hold you all up.

Good luck with your CT scan, sweetie. Hopefully, we will get to spend Friday together. Miss you all...

Jill and Shane, I want you to know that I think about your family daily and am praying extra hard for you during this especially hard time. As difficult as it is, remember that you have plenty of people to depend on whenever you need us.

I know things seem like they are never going to end and that somedays you feel as if you can't breathe. I was just looking at John's pictures this past weekend when he was a baby with his gastroschesis, and I just kept thinking about Ally. I know John is going through a tough time now, but we have had many great years with him once we were able to move on from all the complications from gastroschesis. When times are rough, just think of John and know that you to will have those good times ahead of you. Keep the faith...God really does watch over all of us. And remember, we are hear if you need us no matter what.

Well Shane I could tell you wrote the update. You can bring tears to my eyes quicker then any one I know. The interview with God was so true and touching. It is hard to understand why Ally has to go through so much suffering as well as her family. All I know is she has some incredible parents to show her the special things in life. You are both an inspiration.

I know I don't get to see you guys that much but I hope you know that I think about you both and the girls all the time. I know that things are going to work out for the best! I can feel it. These years will seem unreal to you both and especially Ally! She won't hardly believe all that she went through when she was a baby! She will be a very strong woman someday. This website is priceless because it documents each and every step of her progress that she probably won't remember at all. Your family is a true inspiration, and I am especially touched when through it all I see Jill's smiling face every time she comes to work. I just want to thank you for helping put life into perspective.

We will keep praying that the G-J site heals and all works out for the best with that...
Ally - good work with your sign language and feeding/gaining weight! Say goodbye to the steroids :)

Sorry I didn't get to see you much on your last short visit.....I'm finally going to New Orleans on Oct 27-Nov 7 and Michelle is coming here..and then I'll go to Dallas later...How is the g-tube site?...try all the same stuff we used on her but and try to keep it dry as possible.....wishing you luck and love kisses and hugs.

We are continuing to pray for all of you and hope that these trips to DuPont will become less a part of life for all of you soon. Jill, You said at basket bingo that you feel sometimes that the Lord has given you more than you can handle and I can only imagine how overwhelming this all is. One thing I know for sure though is that when any one of us is going through an especially difficult time the Lord is right there picking us up and helping us to continue on. He is there with all of you. He knows your pain,questions, and frustrations. The great part is that you can go to Him with all of those things and He will never get angry with you or turn His back on you. He will simply continue to love you.

I'm glad to hear that all your mishaps are taken care of. You sure have your share of them, although it sounds like they don't set you back as much as they used to. That's because you're such a strong little girl. I can't wait to see the pictures of you on your swingset.

So sorry for all you have had to face recently. Hoe that being at DuPont can give you all support and finally some way of healing the G-tube opening. May Ally be strong enough to kick out the infections with her cute smiles. May you know God's strength especially amidst any times you know your own weakness.

I'm so sorry to hear that Ally is back at Dupont. I think about all of you everyday. Please know that I am here if you need me.....I am glad that Ally was home for such a long time.

So sorry to hear Ally is back at the old stomping grounds. We were down there yesterday for a checkup - we would have stopped to say hello had I known! David passed his exam with flying colors, he's not due back until January and we are down to irrigating every other day!!! I continue to pray that Ally will recover in a similar way :) Take care of yourselves; I hope you are able to get home soon.

Hello I sorry Ally isn't doing well. I'm no longer living in PA so I can't say I'd be right over to help her get better. I would fly over there and help her. I don't like hearing that she's still in the hospital. I now live in AZ. I still wear my donate life bracelet and I recently became an organ donor. ;). If I would unexpectingly died I would request my organs go to her. Even though I'm older than her I'd have her be my first pick.
