I have followed your story since the Dash in April when I saw all your signs. I am a recent heart transplant recipent and the mother of a one year old son. Ally, it was only a matter of time before you got these organs. I can't think of anyone more worthy of them then you. I hope and pray that the surgery goes smoothly and soon you'll be home, in the backyard pool, with Ashley. I also pray for Jill and Shane. You guys are so patient and I admire you so much. Hi. I just stumbled upon your site when doing some research for my daughter who was born 3 months ago with Short Bowel Syndrome. I noticed in your 4th of July post you mention Omegaven. I strongly suggest contacting Dr. Mark Puder at Children's Boston in regards to this drug. He is amazing and I will be suprised if he can not help in more ways than one. I have also been compiling Omegaven information on our blog as we have been fighting for it here in Florida (just got 100% approval yesterday, YAY!) since pretty much the day Nora was born.
