Keep fighting those insurance companies and make sure the hospitals DO call you back. If there is anything the rest of us can do - please post it on your site. We all want to help in any way we can. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers and will do the same for your friends Gavin, John and Kierra. God Bless, Tracy

Jill - I have been following Ally's health since a pancake breakfaset over a year ago. You are the bravest woman and mother I know. In every posting you have made- the same with your husband - you show such grace and spirit. You are so spiritual and it is a blessing that I can pray for Ally and your family.I have two healthy children and your example has given me more strength and patience as a mother. I give my children an extra hug and kiss at night and pray for your children as well. I pray that you and your family keep strong! Colleen Gilbertsville

Jill, Shane, Ashley & Ally--we continue to keep you in our prayers. May God give you the strength to get through this difficult time and help Ally to get well and be her smiling self again. That black cloud will go away and brighter, happier days are ahead. May your faith pull you through.

Pastor Carl, Lois, Anne Wenzel / Friday, May 18 2007 01:49 PM

What hardship you still have, and what courage, especially when hope is hard to hold on to. Sorry for your trials, but glad you can share and receive our prayers. JIll, your harship praying for Aly's transplant is so understandable, painful. Can I offer this: that God would no sooner take Ally just to make room for another child to have her hospital room. So I do not believe that our God of love and grace, mercifully would not find a person to slay for the sake of giving Ally her organs. However, when one is dying, what greater gift to give the donor's family than to have their loved one's organs not die, but have their life extended by giving an extended life to another of God's children. This is the love of God--that life not be taken, but given. I hope you can pray, and let God help you find healing of the awful and unavoidable feeling that your daughter will be the survivor when another has died.Prayers, love, even tears for you all, Pastor Carl, for Lois and Anne, and your family at St John's.

Susan / Friday, May 18 2007 01:25 PM

Jill - My thoughts are with you, Shane, Ashley, and Alley every day. I too have a 5 year old son with health issues (an immune disorder)although nothing close to what you have to deal with. I so understand your note today regarding the iv's as my son's veins are shot too. And yes your statement about the black cloud is all so true. But for whatever reason, which we will probably never know God has given us this challenge for a reason. Please know that my prayers continue for all of you.

Pastor & Kathy Pearson / Friday, May 18 2007 10:57 AM

Gracious Father in heaven, you know the anxiety that Ally's family suffers. Bring your calm and peace to them and your healing presence to Ally. Grant your protection for Ally as she receives the new central line. We pray that Ally would be a healthy child. We entrust all these things to your tender care for Jesus' sake. Amen.

Thanks to Ally's site and her friend Vinnie Miller I stand corrected. I am elated that I CAN still be a donor. May many new donors be signed up. God bless Ally!

Cris / Tuesday, May 15 2007 02:31 PM

Congratulations! You really deserve the tickets for all your hard work! Great job! Next year I will donate directly to Shane instead of in our name, typically, I was too busy and I was not thinking it would be more beneficial to donate through him. Now if I can remember that until next year! And if you continue to get my family reunion emails you can let me know how many have RSVP'd and you're invited! Sorry about that, somehow I got your email on a sendout to all my cousins!!!!

VinnieMiller / Tuesday, May 15 2007 12:00 PM

This is in answer to Winky Bergdoll's comment about cancer survivors not being able to donate organs. I spoke with someone at The Living Bank, where I'm signed up, 1-800-528-2971 & was told that cancer survivors may donate after being cancer free 5 to 7 years depending on the type of cancer. I'm a breast cancer survivor of 18 yrs. as of 6/6/07, so just wanted to set the record straight. Thank you & may God continue to bless you & yours.

Winky Bergdoll / Monday, May 14 2007 07:57 PM

Great news for you! It is time for a treat for you. Great job by your supporters! They will be blessed for their giving. It was with great regret I received the news that cancer survivors cannot be donors. It broke my heart, but I now pray for many others to make the decision. Looks like many have. God Bless!!

Ally I can't believe what a trooper you are. I have never seen a little girl with such a great smile every time I see you and the to think you are back at Dupont a few days later. I am bringing a girl from work who is a living donor who I wanted to meet you, so if you don't make it on Sunday I will drag her to the next benefit we have so that she can say hello. Remember all of us are walking in honor of you and if you can't make it we know you are there in spirt. Like Cori said Dupont is the best place for you when you aren't feeling well so that the experts can help you. We all pray that soon you will be in Pittsburg and on you way to a normal little girl life. Watch out mom and dad, after this she will never want to leave home, she will be there until she is 30, which won't be so bad after all of this. We are so pleased to hear Ally is doing much better. I'm always taken back by the strength this little 3yrs. old has. She's absolutely amazing. I've wanted to share a little something with you. My son, Mason, is 10yrs old. He attends St. Aloysius school. Every morning they have prayer and he prays for Ally EVERY morning and night. Mason continually asks about Ally's conditions and even wants to donate blood. So I will call to see if they will accept a donation from a 10yr old. Plus we will be signing up for the walk. I just wanted you to know that not only are adults praying for Ally but she has a little friend in her corner as well. Keep the good news coming! Have a Happy & Blessed Easter.
